A picture of a silver salmon and a picture of tundra blueberries

We are going to start our first COVID free school year in a long time with a return to our Bilingual/Bicultural activities, weather permitting.

On Friday, August 26th, our 6th through 12th grade students will have the opportunity to go salmon fishing at Kitchavik. We will have 3 boats to take the kids out. Anyone who would like to tag along with their own boat is welcome. Kids should bring their own life vest, if they have one. If they would like to fish, or cut fish, they should bring their own fishing pole and ulu. Lunch will be provided, or kids can bring their own. Students must have a signed release form to participate.

On Monday, August 29th, the Kindergarten through 5th grade students will be able to spend the afternoon berry picking on the tundra. They should be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather and activity.

ALL STUDENTS ON BOTH ACTIVITIES ARE EXPECTED TO PICK UP AND BRING BACK THEIR TRASH!
