OCTOBER AEC MEETING - Our October AEC meeting will be Monday the 11th at 6:00 pm in the school library. Results of the new member elections and a Migrant Ed meeting are on the agenda. Agenda is posted on our "Documents" site and will be posted around town.
VOLLEYBALL FUNDRAISER! - Saturday, October 2nd, at 4:30 come scrimmage against the MLO Volleyball team for just a $2 donation. Or just $1 if you just want to watch the fun. Cabaret will be open, though our supplies are limited. Cabaret proceeds will go to the Volleyball team.
STUDENT COUNCIL SWEARING IN! - The new Student Council leaders will be sworn in Friday evening, October 1, at 6:30. Come for the Ice Cream Social at 6:00 and stay for the STUCO event!
VOLLEYBALL NIGHT! - Thursday night Open Gym will be "Volleyball Night" during Volleyball season. Let's help the team practice by giving them some good competition on Thursdays!
ICE CREAM SOCIAL!- COVID kept us from having our Ice Cream Social last year, and has delayed it this year. However, we will be having out "Welcome Back" Ice Cream Social this Friday, October 1st, at 6:00 pm. Please come and reconnect with our teachers and meet our 4 new teachers.
WRESTLING COACH! - If you are interested in being the Middle School or High School Wrestling Coach please contact the school as soon as possible.
OPEN GYM CHANGE! - Please use the Main school entrance for Open Gym, starting Monday, the 27th. However, each group MUST leave the building when their group time ends. You may not come and go to the Cabaret once your group time is over.
AEC ELECTION BALLOT! - AEC Elections will be held October 5th. Sample Ballots will be posted at the stores post office and EDA building, as well as on or School "Documents" webpage.
SEWING GATHERING! - Anyone interested in getting together with others to visit and sew are welcome to come to Debbie's class on Thursdays at 7:00 pm. This is for 6th graders and older ONLY (including adults). Please bring your own materials.
AEC ELECTIONS! - Thursday, September 24th is the last day to complete and turn in an "Affidavit of Eligibility and Candidacy" form for the upcoming AEC election. Please come by the school if you are interested in running for AEC.
PRACTICE REMINDERS! - Students, remember that Cross Country practice starts at 4:00 and Volleyball practice at 4:45. Cheer-leading starts today at 6:15.
GYM OPENS TONIGHT!! - Students need to have turned in their signed "Student Handbook Signature Page" , or bring it with them. CABARET WILL BE OPEN!! Please enter through the north door (like last year). We will follow the normal schedule - 3 Y O through 3rd grade at 7:00 pm, 4th through 7th grade at 8:00 pm and 8th grade through adult at 9:00 pm. Gym closes at 10:00 pm.
SCHOOL OPERATING STATUS CHANGE! - As of today, September 20th, the BSSD School Operational Status has changed. (See MLO Web page / Documents.) Until further notice masks are optional in the school, though Social Distancing is encouraged. Gym will be open according to the regular schedule (See Post)

MAP TESTING! - School MAP testing will begin on September 20th and may continue through the 8th of October. Please make sure students are getting a good night's sleep and are prepared to do their best.
OPEN GYM STARTS SEPTEMBER 20th! - Unless we are otherwise directed by BSSD Protocols we will have Open Gym starting on Monday. All students MUST have turned in their signed "Student Handbook" forms to be able to attend.
AEC ELECTION REMINDER! - Two seats will be open for the AEC this year. If you are interested please come by the school to fill out a Candidacy form before the 24th of September. Elections will be October 5th.
SEPTEMBER AEC MEETING! - The Martin L Olson AEC will meet Monday night, September 13th, at 6:00 pm in the Library. As we are still following BSSD COVID-19 protocol only staff and AEC members may attend this meeting. Please see the agenda on our documents page. Contact the school if you have any questions.
SUICIDE PREVENTION WALK! - Please join together with MLO staff and students this evening to participate in our Suicide Prevention Walk. We will meet in front of the school at 7:00 pm.
